Ingredients:-
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Channa dhall - 1 1/2 tbsp
- Red chillies - 3 (acc to taste)
- Salt to taste
- Grated coconut - 2 1/2 tbsp
Fry mustard seeds, channa dhall, red chillies to golden brown. Add coconut to it and saute' for a moment. Let it cool. Grind it into a fine paste adding required amount of salt to it. Enjoy this as a side dish for molagootal rice or vathakozhambu rice.

Parappu thoghayal is one of my faves..and the molagootal below looks yummy too..haven't tried molagootal with drumstick before :)

Nice and traditional recipe. I add a little bit of tamarind too.
