- Beetroot - 1 cup (shredded)
- Onion - 1 medium sized
- Garlic - 1 (chopped)
- Green Chillies - 3 (acc to taste)
- ginger - a small piece (finely chopped)
- Red chillies powder - 1/2 tsp (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric powder v- 1/2 tsp (optional)
- Oil/butter - 1 1/2 tbsp
- cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
