Bittergourd Thokku/ Paavakkai Thokku

I have tasted this thokku somewhere in a restaurant when we were in Chennai.  I am not able to recollect the name of the restaurant. I tried this couple of days back and it came out very well.  Here goes the recipe.

Vegetable Biryani

Vegetable Biryani is our family favorite.  We prefer to eat this from an Indian restaurant near our house.  Their Vegetable biryani is one of the yummiest i have ever had.  When we were in Delhi, we had chance to taste food from various north Indian food. 

Pepper-Jeera Rice/Milagu-Jeeraga Saadam

This is one of my favorite variety rice.  During this winter season, kids get sick very often and I made this rice yesterday for my girls.  They have seasonal cold/sore throat.  Luckily they liked it.  It takes just few minutes to make this rice, if you have cooked white rice.  Here goes the recipe.
